Green smoothie


Drinking a green smoothie is a good way to incorporate greens into your daily diet.

Ingredientsgreen smoothie

  • 1 cup (filtered) water
  • 2 cups chopped kale (or spinach)
  • 1 cup chopped romaine lettuce
  • 2 celery stalks halved
  • 1 large pear or apple (remove core and seeds)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 Tbs. fresh lemon juice

Directions

  1. Place water, lettuce, spinach, and celery and blend until smooth.
  2. Add apple or pear, banana and lemon juice to the blender and blend until smooth
