Drinking a green smoothie is a good way to incorporate greens into your daily diet.
- 1 cup (filtered) water
- 2 cups chopped kale (or spinach)
- 1 cup chopped romaine lettuce
- 2 celery stalks halved
- 1 large pear or apple (remove core and seeds)
- 1 banana
- 1 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
- Place water, lettuce, spinach, and celery and blend until smooth.
- Add apple or pear, banana and lemon juice to the blender and blend until smooth
